The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced a temporary reduction in electricity generation due to the ongoing global petroleum crisis.
The decision comes as rising international fuel prices and supply chain disruptions continue to affect power production capacities across multiple regions.
According to an IESCO spokesperson, these challenges have forced the company to implement scheduled load shedding across both urban and rural service areas.
Officials confirmed that outages are being carried out evenly across all regions, ensuring equal duration of electricity suspension where required.
The company has also made the load management schedule available on its official website to help consumers plan accordingly during this period.
IESCO management apologized for the inconvenience and urged citizens to cooperate, assuring that the situation is temporary and under close monitoring.
