PTI founder and former Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed frustration over Pakistan’s defeat to India in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, his sister Aleema Khan revealed on Tuesday.

Aleema said Imran Khan watched the match on PTV and was deeply disappointed, criticizing the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for appointing individuals based on recommendations rather than merit. He specifically blamed PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, questioning his cricketing experience and leadership.
Khan also dismissed rumors about his health, stating he was in good condition and had spoken to his children on Saturday. Aleema confirmed that reports about his collapse were false.
