PESHAWAR โ The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced a new initiative to support young journalists through Interest-Free Loans. The program aims to help media startups establish independent platforms across the province.
The announcement was made by Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Khan Afridi. He said the initiative is part of a broader vision for an independent and strong media sector. He added that the plan reflects the ideas of Imran Khan regarding media freedom and development.
Under the scheme, Interest-Free Loans will be provided to young journalists and media professionals. These loans will help them set up digital platforms and independent media houses. The goal is to encourage innovation in journalism.
