Iran Says US Deal Possible If Washington Drops ‘Authoritarian Mindset

Iran Says US Deal Possible If Washington Drops ‘Authoritarian Mindset

Talks between Iran and the United States ended in Pakistan without a breakthrough. However, Iranian officials say a future agreement is still possible under certain conditions.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that any deal depends on a shift in US policy. He said Washington must move away from what he called an Authoritarian Mindset. According to him, respect for Iran’s sovereignty is essential for progress.

His remarks were shared on social media and quickly gained attention. The statement came after recent diplomatic efforts failed to produce results. Despite this, Iran signaled that negotiations are not completely off the table.

Pezeshkian explained that Iran is open to dialogue but rejects pressure-based diplomacy. He stressed that talks should be based on equality and mutual respect. He added that an Authoritarian Mindset from the US creates obstacles to meaningful discussions.

Reports also suggest that Iran discussed broader geopolitical issues with Russia. These talks included Iran’s relationship with Western countries and future cooperation. However, the main focus remains on resolving tensions with the United States.

Iranian officials believe that a deal is still achievable. They described it as “not out of reach,” provided there is a change in approach. The demand to abandon an Authoritarian Mindset remains central to Iran’s position.

On the other hand, former US President Donald Trump shared a different view. He said recent talks in Islamabad failed due to Iran’s nuclear stance. He claimed Iran’s refusal to limit its nuclear program remains the biggest hurdle.

Trump also predicted that Iran would eventually return to negotiations. He expressed confidence that the US would secure a favorable agreement in the end.

The contrasting views highlight ongoing mistrust between the two sides. Iran focuses on sovereignty and independence, while the US emphasizes nuclear restrictions.

Experts say the lack of trust continues to block progress. Both sides remain firm in their positions. The demand to move away from an Authoritarian Mindset could shape future talks.

In conclusion, while no agreement was reached, diplomacy is still possible. The outcome will depend on whether both countries can find common ground and rebuild trust.
