Is Pakistan Blocking Access to Facebook After X?

Several users in Pakistan have reported difficulties accessing Facebook due to the ongoing suspension of X, previously known as Twitter. However, Meta, Facebook’s parent company, has not confirmed these issues, stating that the platform remains accessible throughout the country.

Local media indicated that users struggled to log into their Facebook accounts overnight between July 16 and 17. Some users speculated whether the platform was blocked by the Pakistani government or the service provider.

The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has yet to make a statement on the matter.
