Restaurants and food outlets have slightly more flexibility. They are now allowed to operate until 10pm. Grocery stores also fall under this category, ensuring that residents can access daily essentials in the evening. Similarly, wedding halls and marquees can continue their operations until 10pm, following earlier guidelines.
Essential services remain fully exempt from these restrictions. Hospitals, medical stores, laboratories, petrol pumps, and CNG stations can operate without any time limits. Milk and yogurt shops are also included in this category. This ensures that basic public needs are met at all times.
In addition, call centres and IT companies working with international clients are not affected by the revised Market Hours. Authorities recognize the importance of these sectors for global business operations. Takeaway and home delivery services are also free from timing limits, offering convenience to customers.
