The selection ceremony was conducted in the presence of the Islamabad Inspector General of Police (IGP), who attended the departmental event to oversee the process.

The lucky draw provided an opportunity for police employees from different ranks to undertake the religious pilgrimages this year.

According to the announcement, the selected personnel include constables, head constables, assistant sub-inspectors and other department employees. Their names were announced following the draw conducted under the department’s arrangements.

The 12 selected individuals are Constable Ghulam Jilani, Constable Muhammad Sarwar, Constable Babar Rahmat, Constable Asim Raza, Head Constable Ansar Mehmood, Head Constable Muhammad Khalid, Assistant Sub-Inspector Zulfiqar Khan and Assistant Sub-Inspector Sajid Mehmood.

Although Islamabad Police has confirmed the selection of 12 personnel, further details about their individual pilgrimage assignments have not been disclosed. The announcement also did not clarify how many employees would perform Hajj and how many would undertake Umrah.
