Pakistani javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem achieved a historic milestone at the Paris Olympics 2024, and his country celebrated his success with great enthusiasm.
Following his remarkable achievement, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) announced that a major road in Islamabad’s F-10 sector, stretching from the F-10 roundabout to Khayaban-e-Iqbal (Margalla Road), will be renamed in honor of Arshad Nadeem.

This decision came from the federal government, recognizing Nadeem’s outstanding performance at the Paris Olympics. The road selected for this tribute is located in the F-10 Markaz area.
Additionally, the National Assembly of Pakistan passed a resolution to commemorate Nadeem’s success, and he will be awarded a civil honor.
At just 27 years old, Arshad Nadeem made history as the first Pakistani to win an individual gold medal at the Olympics with a javelin throw of 92.97 meters.
