Police have registered a murder case after the fatal shooting of 17-year-old TikTok influencer Sana Yousuf in Islamabad’s G-13 sector on Tuesday.
According to Sumbal police officials, the attack occurred around 5 pm when an unidentified shooter entered Sana’s residence and fired multiple rounds, hitting her twice in the chest before fleeing the scene.

Sana, who hailed from Upper Chitral, was immediately taken to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
The case was filed based on a complaint by Sana’s mother, who stated, “We will recognize the suspect if we see him.” Police suspect that the assailant may have been a guest in the house during the incident, though the motive remains unclear and is under investigation.
Sana Yousuf was a well-known TikTok personality with a large following. Her body has been sent for a post-mortem examination at PIMS.
