Jazz and Samsung Electronics have signed a Strategic Partnership to make AI-powered smartphones more affordable across Pakistan. The agreement was signed at Samsung’s global headquarters in Suwon, South Korea.

The collaboration aims to improve access to advanced smartphones, artificial intelligence features and digital payment services. It also supports broader efforts to promote digital and financial inclusion across the country.

Jazz, Pakistan’s leading connectivity provider under JazzWorld, will combine its customer reach and retail network with Samsung’s mobile technology. The companies plan to help more consumers access Galaxy devices equipped with Galaxy AI and 5G capabilities.

Strategic Partnership Focuses on Affordable Smartphones

A key part of the Strategic Partnership involves reducing the upfront cost of purchasing compatible Samsung smartphones. Jazz and Samsung plan to explore instalment plans and trade-in programmes.

These options could help consumers upgrade their existing devices without paying the full cost immediately. The initiative aims to make advanced mobile technology more accessible to a wider audience.

Kazim Mujtaba, President of Jazz GSM, said affordability, connectivity and ease of use were important for expanding AI access. He explained that the partnership aims to help Pakistanis use AI for learning, working and creative activities.

Mujtaba also highlighted opportunities related to Samsung Wallet. The companies aim to explore ways to make everyday digital payments more convenient.

Ryan Na, Managing Director of Samsung Electronics Pakistan, said the collaboration would combine Samsung’s technology with Jazz’s connectivity and retail reach.

He said both companies wanted to make Galaxy devices more accessible through flexible ownership options and improved consumer engagement. The initiative also aims to encourage the adoption of next-generation mobile technology in Pakistan.

Customers to Experience Galaxy AI Features

Under the agreement, selected Jazz outlets will allow customers to explore Samsung’s latest smartphone innovations. Visitors will be able to test Galaxy AI features and receive guidance about financing and connectivity options.

The companies also plan to strengthen the customer experience through after-sales support. This approach aims to help buyers understand device features and available services after purchasing their smartphones.

The Strategic Partnership will also promote 5G-ready devices across Pakistan. These smartphones can support activities involving communication, productivity, content creation and entertainment.

Wider access to compatible devices could help consumers benefit from newer mobile services. However, the availability of specific features will depend on device compatibility and network coverage.

Jazz and Samsung Target Business Customers

The collaboration will also focus on corporate and enterprise customers. Jazz and Samsung plan to work towards bundled smartphone and connectivity packages for businesses.

These offerings could help companies equip employees with compatible devices and mobile services. Businesses may also benefit from having device and connectivity solutions arranged together.

Overall, the agreement reflects a shared effort to expand access to advanced smartphones and AI technology. Both companies aim to make digital tools more attainable for individuals and businesses.

The initiative could also support Pakistan’s wider digital economy by encouraging smartphone adoption and digital payment use. Its impact will depend on the availability, affordability and adoption of the planned services.
