The 12th edition of the International Defence Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS) officially kicked off at the Expo Centre in Karachi, featuring a remarkable drill by the Pakistan Armed Forces to showcase their professional training. The event, which runs from November 19 to 22, brings together international delegations to display a wide range of military equipment, alongside locally produced defense products.
In his briefing to the media, Commodore Atta Zaz Khalid, Director of Media at the Defence Ministry, highlighted the significance of IDEAS 2024. He emphasized that the exhibition serves as a major platform for Pakistan to showcase its domestic defense products while fostering international partnerships. The event will also include seminars on defense industries and meetings with industry leaders, further enhancing Pakistan’s strategic positioning.
