Karachi to See Warm Weather Ahead of Rain Later This Week

Residents of Karachi will experience warm and slightly humid conditions on Monday and Tuesday, with temperatures reaching up to 32°C. Humidity remains high at 61%, adding a touch of mugginess to the city’s atmosphere. Meteorologists say temperatures are expected to rise gradually over the week.

On Monday, partly cloudy skies will dominate, with temperatures between 30°C and 32°C. Tuesday will bring clear and sunny conditions, with highs ranging from 31°C to 33°C. The weather will turn partly cloudy ahead of predicted rainfall on Thursday.

Across Sindh, most districts are forecasted to remain dry and partly cloudy on Monday. However, areas such as Tharparkar, Mirpur Khas, and Umerkot may experience rain, windstorms, or thunderstorms during the day.

A westerly wave affecting upper and central Pakistan will persist until March 31. This system is bringing widespread rain, thunderstorms, and windstorms to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northern and central Punjab, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Kashmir. Isolated showers may also occur in northeastern Balochistan and southern Punjab.

Heavy rainfall and isolated hailstorms are possible in affected areas, while southeastern Sindh may witness sporadic rain, thunderstorms, or wind during this period. Authorities have advised residents to remain alert to sudden weather changes and take precautions against heat stress and storms.
