KP Government to Construct Quran Palace in Peshawar

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has revealed plans to build a Holy Quran Palace in Peshawar, intended for preserving old copies of the Holy Quran. This decision emerged during a meeting of the Auqaf and Religious Affairs department.

Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has instructed the Peshawar Development Authority to locate and allocate land for this significant project. The Holy Quran Palace will function as a specialized facility dedicated to the storage and preservation of ancient and valuable Quranic texts, safeguarding them for future generations.

Additionally, Chief Minister Gandapur directed authorities to identify appropriate land for a government graveyard in Peshawar, addressing the city’s increasing demand for burial space and ensuring respectful interment facilities.
