The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has launched the Ehsaas Fuel Support Program to provide financial relief to small transport owners affected by rising fuel prices.
The announcement was made through an official statement issued by Special Assistant to the Chief Minister on Information, Shafi Jan, highlighting the provincial relief initiative.
According to officials, the program has been introduced on the directions of Chief Minister Sohail Afridi to assist low-income transport workers struggling with increasing fuel costs.
Under the scheme, motorcycle, scooter, and rickshaw owners will receive Rs. 2,000 financial assistance to help manage daily fuel expenses and operational challenges.
Authorities confirmed that eligible individuals can register through the Dastak App, ensuring a simple, transparent, and digital application process for applicants.
The provincial government added that more welfare-focused initiatives will be introduced to reduce financial pressure and support citizens during inflation and energy challenges.
