Drivers must have valid driving licenses before operating vehicles covered by the enforcement campaign. Vehicles must also carry valid fitness certificates where required.
Authorities have restricted the entry of Commercial Vehicles that fail to meet these requirements.

108 Tractors and Trolleys Impounded

During the operation, officials impounded 108 tractors and trolleys. These vehicles were allegedly transporting materials without proper tarpaulin covers.
Uncovered loads can create problems for other road users. Authorities are therefore taking action against vehicles violating transport and safety rules.
