The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has announced the postponement of today’s intermediate and matriculation exams due to growing security concerns following escalating tensions with India. The postponed exams include Islamiyat (elective) and Principles of Accounting for Inter Part II, along with a Computer Science practical exam for matric students.
A BISE spokesperson cited safety concerns linked to recent military strikes between the two nations, assuring students that a revised schedule will be shared soon. The move follows significant military activity along the Line of Control, including Pakistani forces shooting down five Indian fighter jets and one drone in response to Indian airspace violations.
