A shocking case of alleged criminal involvement within law enforcement has emerged from Lahore, where the Station House Officer (SHO) of the women’s police station, Saniya, has been arrested for suspected ties to a robbery gang.
According to police reports, several suspects were apprehended in Kahan, a suburban area of Lahore, following a robbery. During interrogation, one of the suspects disclosed that the weapon used in the crime was hidden in a house.

When authorities raided the location, they discovered it belonged to SHO Saniya. A pistol linked to the robbery was recovered from her possession, leading to her arrest and the registration of a case against her.
In a related incident earlier this month, Sindh Police suspended Lady Sub-Inspector Benazir Jamali over her suspected involvement with drug dealers and smugglers. Jamali, who previously headed the CIA District Dadu in the Hyderabad Range, came under scrutiny as part of a broader crackdown on corruption within law enforcement agencies.
Her suspension was officially confirmed through a notification issued by the Sindh Police Department, which reassigned her to “B Company” at the PHQ Garden in Karachi’s South Zone. Despite being suspended, the notice stated she would continue receiving her full salary and allowances as per new departmental guidelines.
Investigations into both cases are ongoing, as authorities work to uncover the full extent of the alleged misconduct.
