Many households have also complained that unstable voltage has damaged expensive home appliances. Air conditioners, refrigerators, televisions, water motors, and other electrical equipment have reportedly been affected by repeated power fluctuations, increasing financial pressure on consumers.

However, recent reports suggest there could be a shortfall of 500 to 800 megawatts, raising concerns about the actual supply situation.
