Lahore has taken a major leap toward eco-friendly urban development with the launch of Route 47, a 4.5-kilometer stretch of smart infrastructure introduced by CBD Punjab.
The innovative road is lined with solar panels installed along its footpaths, enabling it to generate up to 1 megawatt of electricity. This not only helps meet local energy demands but also offers shaded walkways for pedestrians, combining sustainability with comfort.
