Leaked WhatsApp conversations have revealed a shocking attempt by Aleema Khan to leverage her brother, the founder of PTI, for political gains. The messages show her discussing strategies with her social media operator, Ahsan Alvi, aimed at using her brother’s imprisonment to bolster her influence within the party.
In one of the exchanges, Aleema Khan compares her brother to a “Pot of Gold,” questioning why he should be given comforts like air-conditioning while in jail. She argues that such amenities create a “normal” image, suggesting that the public should feel more of his suffering to amplify the political impact.

Aleema also directs Alvi to push a narrative blaming PTI founder’s wife, Bushra Bibi, for his sentence. She suggests spinning a story that links the founder’s seven-year sentence to Bushra Bibi’s failure to present her daughters in court, further complicating the party’s internal dynamics.
The leaked messages go on to reveal Aleema Khan’s efforts to curtail the influence of key figures within the party. She expresses approval over the removal of Mashal Yousafzai from an advisory position and mocks party member Sher Afzal Marwat, linking his frequent illness to a fabricated virus, “GHQ 420.”
These revelations shed light on the growing factionalism within PTI, as Aleema Khan allegedly seeks to manipulate internal narratives for her own political advantage, sparking concerns about the party’s unity.
