Meera had appeared on the show to promote her upcoming film Psycho, but the conversation reportedly shifted away from her work toward her personal life. The change in tone quickly created tension.
During the discussion, Bhatti repeatedly raised questions about past relationships and controversies, referencing names such as Sangeeta, Saud, and Humayun Saeed.
Meera consistently avoided engaging with these topics, stating she was unaware of such claims and repeatedly steering the conversation back toward her film and career.
The situation escalated further when Bhatti questioned her about a previously mentioned plan to build a hospital in her mother’s name, asking about funding details. Meera again redirected attention to her project.
Eventually, the actress removed her microphone, stood up, and exited the interview. Despite this, Bhatti reportedly continued asking questions as she left the set.
A clip of the exchange quickly went viral on social media, drawing widespread criticism. Many users called the questioning inappropriate and praised Meera for maintaining composure.
Actress Mishi Khan also came out in support of Meera, criticizing Bhatti’s approach and urging more respectful conduct in interviews.
