According to the Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (Suparco), the crescent is likely to be visible on the evening of June 26. Suparco stated that the new Islamic year is expected to begin on Friday, June 27, with Youm-e-Ashur (10th Muharram) likely falling on July 6.

The Muharram moon is expected to be born at 3:32 PM on June 25, and by sunset on June 26, it will be around 28 hours old. Suparco noted a 75-minute interval between sunset and moonset in coastal areas, providing favorable conditions for visibility.
