More Than 119,000 Pakistani Hajj Pilgrims to Return Home Starting May 31

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced that the return operation for Pakistani Hajj Pilgrims will begin on May 31, marking the start of a month-long effort to bring thousands of worshippers back home after completing their spiritual journey.

According to official details, the first return flight will depart from Jeddah on the night of May 31 and arrive in Sialkot. The flight will carry 391 pilgrims who recently completed Hajj in Saudi Arabia.

Authorities said the majority of return flights are scheduled to arrive in Pakistan from June 1 onward. On the first full day of the operation, 22 flights are expected to bring back 5,237 Hajj Pilgrims to various cities across the country.

The incoming flights will land at several major airports, including Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Sialkot, Faisalabad, and Quetta. Special arrangements have been made to ensure a smooth arrival process for pilgrims and their families.

Officials stated that approximately 119,000 pilgrims who performed Hajj under the government scheme will return to Pakistan through a total of 471 flights. The large-scale repatriation operation is expected to continue until June 30.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs said all relevant departments are working together to ensure that returning pilgrims face minimal inconvenience during their journey home. Airport authorities, airline operators, and support staff have also been instructed to facilitate the process efficiently.

Every year, the return of Hajj Pilgrims is one of the largest travel operations organized by the government. Thousands of families across Pakistan eagerly await the arrival of their loved ones after the completion of the sacred pilgrimage.

Hajj is one of the most important religious obligations for Muslims and attracts millions of worshippers from around the world. Pakistani pilgrims joined fellow Muslims in performing the various rituals of Hajj in the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah.

The upcoming return operation is expected to witness emotional reunions as pilgrims return home after spending weeks in Saudi Arabia. Many families have already begun preparations to welcome relatives arriving from the holy journey.

Officials have advised families and passengers to stay informed through airlines and airport authorities regarding flight schedules and arrival times. Any changes to flight operations will be communicated through official channels.
