This price gain follows weeks of heavy trading volatility across domestic bullion centers. During early and mid-July, rates briefly dipped to the Rs 417,000 to Rs 424,000 range. However, prices rebounded strongly toward the middle of the month.
Subsequent single-day spikes of Rs 4,600 and Rs 4,700 drove market levels higher. Prices rapidly approached Rs 429,000 and reached near Rs 433,836 per tola. Trading remained unstable through late July amid global economic uncertainties. Daily market swings ranged between Rs 1,800 and Rs 4,600 in both directions.
Throughout July 2026, the precious metal experienced significant price shifts. It hit a monthly peak of nearly Rs 442,900 per tola. It also recorded a low of around Rs 424,200 per tola. These movements represented price swings exceeding Rs 10,000 within brief periods before settling near current figures.

Local bullion analysts point to several combined factors behind these ongoing fluctuations. Unstable international market rates remain a primary driving force. In addition, geopolitical tension, currency exchange movements against the US dollar, and changing domestic demand directly impact local pricing dynamics.
