Mustafa Amir Murder Case Probe Reveals Alleged Drug Network Links

Investigations into the Mustafa Amir murder case continue to uncover alleged connections with a wider drug network. Officials say multiple cases involving narcotics, violence, and organized crime appear to be linked. Questions are now being raised over delays and weaknesses in earlier investigations.

The Mustafa Amir case gained major attention after suspect Armaghan was arrested on February 8, 2025. He was taken into custody following a police encounter in Karachiโ€™s Defence Gizri area. During the operation, DSP Ahsan Zulfiqar was critically injured.

The police officer later embraced martyrdom in March 2025 while receiving medical treatment. Authorities said the encounter became a key turning point in exposing a broader criminal network.

According to investigators, interrogation of Armaghan revealed details about a large drug operation. Officials claim the network was allegedly involved in cocaine and weed smuggling activities across different regions.

As the Mustafa Amir investigation expanded, another suspect named Sahir Hassan was arrested on February 22, 2025. Police alleged that he was connected to an international drug trafficking network.

Further developments came on March 6, 2025, when authorities arrested alleged cocaine dealer Faizan alias Faizi. Sources claim Faizan provided important details about supply chains and individuals connected to the network.

Investigators reportedly linked his statements to Anmol alias Pinky, who is believed to have ties with the alleged drug operation. Authorities said the revelations created another connection between the narcotics network and the Mustafa Amir murder case.

However, critics say the investigation later slowed down. Officials reportedly failed to pursue several important leads in time. Due to weak prosecution and insufficient evidence, Faizan was released in 2025 and later re-arrested in 2026.

Sources claim Faizan again disclosed information about individuals allegedly linked to the network. Despite this, investigators were reportedly unable to fully dismantle the operation.

The growing concerns around the Mustafa Amir case have increased pressure on law enforcement agencies. Critics argue that stronger action after the first arrests could have prevented further criminal activity.

Authorities are now facing questions about why earlier warnings and evidence were not handled more effectively. Citizens and observers say delayed investigations may have allowed the alleged drug network to expand further.

The case continues to remain under investigation as officials review connections between organized crime, narcotics trafficking, and violent incidents across the city.
