NADRA and FBISE Join Hands to Transform Student Registration and Certificates

NADRA and FBISE Join Hands to Transform Student Registration and Certificates

National Database and Registration Authority and FBISE have signed a new agreement to improve student registration in Pakistan.

The agreement will integrate student data for Matriculation and Intermediate examinations.

The initiative aims to reduce errors in student records and improve the accuracy of academic credentials.

It will also introduce digital solutions for students to access and share their educational certificates securely.

NADRA and FBISE Establish Data Exchange System

Under the agreement, NADRA and the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education will establish a mutual data-exchange mechanism.

The system will allow FBISE to receive important student information directly from the national identity registry.

This information will include a student’s full name, father’s name and date of birth.

Direct access to verified information could reduce differences between identity records and educational registration details.

It could also help prevent common errors when students register for Matriculation and Intermediate examinations.

Student Registration Process to Become More Accurate

The partnership focuses on making student registration more accurate and efficient.

Using verified identity information can help educational authorities maintain consistent student records.

The initiative is also expected to support the issuance of accurate and verifiable academic credentials.

This could simplify administrative processes for both students and educational institutions.

Reducing manual data entry may also lower the possibility of incorrect personal information appearing on certificates.

Digital Wallet Planned for Educational Certificates

Another major part of the agreement is the development of a secure Digital Wallet.

Students will be able to access and store their educational certificates digitally through the system.

They will also be able to share their certificates digitally when required.

The feature could make academic documents easier to access for education and verification purposes.

Security will remain an important part of the system because it will involve personal and academic records.

NADRA Expands Education Data Integration

The FBISE partnership forms part of a wider NADRA initiative involving identity and educational records.

The authority is progressively working to improve digital data-sharing across Pakistan’s education sector.

The broader program includes secondary and higher secondary education boards across the country.

Universities and the Higher Education Commission are also part of the wider digital integration effort.

The initiative aims to create stronger links between verified identity information and educational records nationwide.

Agreement Signed at NADRA Headquarters

The agreement was signed at NADRA Headquarters in Islamabad.

The signing ceremony was attended by FBISE Chairman Dr. Ikram Ali Malik and the Chairman of NADRA.

The collaboration represents another move toward digitizing education-related administrative processes in Pakistan.
