The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has issued a warning to citizens regarding a fake website impersonating the official agency. The website, idcardtracking.online, has been flagged as fraudulent.
NADRA advised people, especially overseas Pakistanis, not to engage with agents or third-party services for identity-related tasks. The authority emphasized that only the official Pak-ID mobile application should be used for all identification services.
A NADRA spokesperson stated that the website operating under the name “NADRA Card Centre” has no connection with the official authority. The platform reportedly deceives expatriates, particularly in the United Kingdom, by offering false services and employment opportunities. NADRA confirmed that any service claiming to process ID cards, NICOP, or job applications is a fake website.
The authority also warned that sharing personal information, documents, or payments through such fraudulent platforms could result in misuse and identity theft. NADRA has filed a complaint with the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency for investigation into the matter.
Separately, NADRA reminded parents about the importance of updating B-Forms for their children. Once a child turns three, the previously issued B-Form expires, and a new photo B-Form is required for official records and school admissions. Parents can obtain the new B-Form by visiting a NADRA office with the child or applying through the official Pak-ID mobile app.
The warning comes as part of NADRA’s continued effort to protect citizens from scams. The authority urged the public to remain vigilant and verify the authenticity of any website or service claiming to represent NADRA.
Citizens are encouraged to report any suspicious websites or services, as NADRA continues to take action against fraudulent activities. Using only the official Pak-ID platform ensures security and prevents exposure to threats posed by a fake website.
