The National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) marked Breast Cancer Awareness Month by organizing a range of Pinktober 2025 activities across its Head Office and regional branches. The campaign highlighted the Bankβs continued commitment to promoting employee well-being and community health through education and preventive care.
Throughout October, NBP branches nationwide hosted awareness sessions focusing on early detection, self-examination, and the importance of regular medical checkups. These sessions encouraged open dialogue and aimed to empower employees, especially women, to take proactive steps toward safeguarding their health.
The Pinktober 2025 campaign concluded at the NBP Head Office in Karachi with an awareness seminar and free screening camp, organized in collaboration with the Memon Medical Institute Hospital. The session, led by Dr. Saima Awan, emphasized the significance of early diagnosis and preventive measures in saving lives. Employees were offered free consultations and screenings as part of the event.
NBP President and CEO, Mr. Rehmat Ali Hasnie, said the Pinktober 2025 initiative reflects the Bankβs dedication to spreading awareness about breast cancer prevention. βWe believe awareness and prevention are vital to protecting lives. NBP is proud to stand with organizations and individuals who support this important cause,β he stated.
Echoing this message, Mirza Muhammad Asim Baig, Group Chief of Human Resource Management, said that employee health and well-being remain central to NBPβs people strategy. βPinktober gives us a chance to transform awareness into action and show our collective commitment to womenβs health,β he added.
In the evening, the NBP Head Office was illuminated in pink, symbolizing hope, unity, and solidarity in the fight against breast cancer.
Through initiatives like Pinktober 2025, the National Bank of Pakistan continues to promote a culture of care, inclusion, and community engagement nationwide.
