The National Disaster Management Authority has issued a nationwide weather advisory, warning of rain, thunderstorms, and strong winds in coming days.
According to the NDMA, intermittent rainfall is expected across Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan from April 12 to 17.
The weather system may bring thunderstorms, dust storms, and gusty winds, while some areas could also experience isolated hailstorms.
Rainfall is likely in Islamabad and several cities of Punjab, including Rawalpindi, Lahore, Sialkot, and Murree.
Meanwhile, Sindh and Balochistan are expected to remain hot and dry, with temperatures gradually rising during the daytime.
The NDMA has warned that strong winds, lightning, and heavy rain may disrupt power supply, damage weak structures, and increase landslide risks in hilly areas.
