Several areas of Kashmir are likely to receive intermittent heavy rainfall. These include Neelum Valley, Muzaffarabad, Rawalakot, Bagh and Kotli.
Bhimber and Mirpur are also included in the weather forecast. Rainfall in these areas may continue until September 6.
The weather department has warned about possible flooding risks. Persistent rain could increase the risk of urban flooding in several major cities.
Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Lahore could face urban flooding. Gujranwala and Mardan may also experience similar conditions.
