This incident highlights the persistent challenges within Pakistan’s healthcare system, particularly in under-resourced areas. It follows a similar case from last month in rural Sindh, where a woman was forced to give birth outside a government hospital due to inadequate facilities.
These occurrences emphasize the urgent need for enhanced healthcare infrastructure, particularly in public hospitals, which are overwhelmed by overcrowding, limited resources, staff shortages, and the high demand from individuals unable to afford private healthcare.
