The Foreign Office on Wednesday dismissed reports of Pakistan-Iran border closures, calling them “false and misleading.”
In an official statement, the FO clarified that all crossing points between the two countries remain fully functional, with no restrictions on trade or travel.

This comes after speculation on social media and regional outlets suggested that certain border points in Balochistan had been shut due to security concerns.
“There has been no decision—formal or informal—to limit cross-border movement,” said the FO spokesperson, urging the public to ignore unverified claims.
