ISLAMABAD: Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, firmly stated that Balochistan is an inseparable part of Pakistan and will remain so under all circumstances.
Speaking at the Hilal Talks 2025 programme on Monday, Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif emphasized that narratives promoting separatism in Balochistan are entirely baseless. He said the province is deeply connected to the country’s social and economic fabric, and any claims suggesting otherwise are unfounded.

“The notion that Balochistan can be separated from Pakistan is mere propaganda,” he stated. “Baloch, Sindhi, Pashtun, Punjabi, Kashmiri, and Balti – we are all united as one nation. No force can divide us.”
Highlighting regional threats, the DG ISPR warned of India’s involvement in destabilising activities, particularly through its support of banned outfits like the Balochistan Liberation Army. He referred to these actions as an externally funded attempt to create unrest.
“There is no ideology behind the terrorism in Balochistan. It is entirely orchestrated and funded by India,” he noted. He reiterated that such hostile efforts will not succeed due to the unwavering bond between the people of Pakistan and their armed forces, calling it a “timeless relationship rooted in love and trust.”
