Nishat Group’s NexGen Auto has officially launched the OMODA 7 SHS-P in Pakistan.
The plug-in hybrid SUV carries an ex-factory price of Rs 10,649,000. Its launch follows months of anticipation after the vehicle appeared at the PakWheels Auto Show in Karachi.
Pakistani customers can now book the SUV through the company’s dealership network or online.
OMODA 7 Brings Plug-In Hybrid Power
The OMODA 7 combines a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine with an electric motor.
Together, the system produces 341 horsepower and 525 Nm of torque. An 18.4 kWh battery provides more than 90 kilometres of electric-only driving range.
The combined petrol and electric driving range can reach up to 1,250 kilometres.
This setup targets drivers seeking electric commuting without depending entirely on charging infrastructure. It also provides petrol-powered flexibility for longer journeys.
Premium Features and Technology
The SUV comes with several comfort and technology features aimed at premium C-SUV buyers.
These include Stargazing Zero Gravity Seats and an eight-point massage function.
A 12-speaker SONY sound system is also included.
Other features include illuminated front bumper lights and the Star Rail Glide Screen. Luxury fragrance dispensers are also offered inside the cabin.
The SUV rides on 20-inch alloy wheels and includes a T-type spare wheel.
OMODA has also recorded growth in international markets. According to the company, the brand crossed 15,000 registrations in the United Kingdom during 2026.
OMODA 7 Price and Booking in Pakistan
The OMODA 7 has been introduced at an ex-factory price of Rs 10,649,000.
NexGen Auto is also offering a price-lock option with the vehicle. Customers can book the SUV online or through OMODA and JAECOO dealerships.
The company currently has 20 dealerships operating across Pakistan.
Nishat Group Expands OMODA and JAECOO Line-Up
NexGen Auto introduced OMODA and JAECOO in Pakistan on August 1, 2025. The launch event was held at Expo Centre Lahore.
Five models were presented, including the OMODA E5 and JAECOO J6. The JAECOO J7, OMODA 7 and JAECOO J5 were also unveiled.
According to the company, all five models are now available in Pakistan.
The brand says it has crossed 10,000 vehicle deliveries during its first year in the country. Globally, OMODA and JAECOO have expanded their presence to 64 markets.
OMODA 4 Coming to Pakistan Next
Following the latest launch, NexGen Auto is preparing to introduce the OMODA 4 in Pakistan.
The upcoming model has already made its regional debut in Indonesia. It features the brand’s futuristic Cyber Mecha design language.
A Super AI Cockpit is another major feature of the vehicle.
The system uses multiple AI agents to manage different functions through natural voice commands. Drivers can control air conditioning, windows, seat ventilation and ambient lighting through combined instructions.
The system can also manage music and assist with multi-stop navigation.
Globally, the OMODA 4 is available with BEV, HEV and ICE powertrain options. However, the company has not yet confirmed which versions will be offered in Pakistan.
