Hostilities between Pakistan and India have sharply intensified as Pakistan initiated “Operation Bunyan ul Marsoos” in response to what it describes as persistent Indian aggression.
As part of the operation, Pakistan carried out targeted precision strikes, reportedly destroying two vital Indian Air Force installations — the Udhampur and Pathankot airbases. Military sources in Islamabad confirmed that these attacks were a direct retaliation to India’s continued provocations along the border.

The strikes dealt a serious blow to India’s northern air defense infrastructure. Pathankot, located near the Pakistan-India border, is a major operational center for the Indian Air Force, while Udhampur base plays a crucial role in logistics and support for Indian operations in the Jammu and Kashmir region.
In a further escalation, Pakistan also successfully targeted a BrahMos missile storage site in Beas, India — a move intended to demonstrate its resolve in defending national sovereignty.
Military analysts suggest that this operation marks a significant shift in Pakistan’s posture, signaling a willingness to strike deep into Indian territory if provoked. Reports indicate that additional strategic targets across India may be engaged as part of the ongoing operation.
The situation remains fluid, with both countries maintaining strong military positions along their disputed frontiers, especially in Kashmir. The international community has expressed growing concern over the risk of a broader conflict and is urging both sides to engage in diplomatic dialogue.
As Operation Bunyan ul Marsoos unfolds, global leaders are closely monitoring the developments, calling for restraint and a peaceful resolution to avoid further escalation between the nuclear-armed rivals.
