Overseas Pakistanis Remittances Surge 22%, Cross $13 Billion Mark

Investment through Roshan Digital Accounts (RDA) has shown strong growth in recent months. The latest data reveals rising confidence from global investors. The initiative continues to attract steady inflows from abroad.

Total deposits have now crossed $12.7 billion. This reflects long-term participation from global users. A large portion of this growth comes from Overseas Pakistanis using digital banking channels.

Monthly inflows also increased during April 2026. Investment rose by 22 percent compared to the previous month. The total monthly inflow exceeded $320 million. This marks a strong improvement in overall activity.

In March 2026, Roshan Digital Accounts received around $262 million. Earlier months showed lower but stable inflows. Most monthly investments previously stayed between $150 million and $200 million.

The total number of accounts has also increased significantly. More than 917,000 accounts have been opened so far. This shows growing trust among Overseas Pakistanis in Pakistanโ€™s digital banking system.

Officials say the scheme continues to support investment flows into the country. It allows non-resident Pakistanis and foreign nationals to invest in Pakistan easily. The system is fully digital and user-friendly.

Another key feature of the program is flexibility. Funds and profits can be transferred abroad at any time. This has encouraged more participation from Overseas Pakistanis living in different countries.

The scheme also allows business owners abroad to invest. Non-resident Pakistanis who own companies in other countries are eligible. This has widened the investment base further.

Financial experts believe the rising inflows reflect improved confidence. The consistent participation of Overseas Pakistanis is supporting economic stability. It is also helping strengthen foreign exchange reserves.
