In a significant crackdown on foreign-sponsored terrorism, Pakistani security agencies have arrested 10 alleged operatives linked to India’s intelligence agency RAW in coordinated raids across Punjab and Sindh.
Punjab Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) officials confirmed the arrest of six Pakistani nationals during ‘Operation Yalghar’ for facilitating a terror plot targeting mosques and railway stations in Bahawalpur and Bahawalnagar. Two Indian spies were also detained in Bahawalnagar, with audio evidence recovered linking them to Indian intelligence officers.

CTD revealed that Indian Army officers Major Ravindra and Inspector Singh were behind the plot and even smuggled explosives to the operatives near the border. The funding, reportedly done via cryptocurrency and digital banking platforms, highlights the sophisticated nature of the operation.
Meanwhile in Karachi, four more suspects allegedly working for RAW were arrested. Authorities said they provided Indian handlers with sensitive data on military sites and had crossed the Indian border over 20 times. Explosives, weapons, and geotagged images were seized.
In response, Pakistan vowed to raise the issue on international platforms to expose what it calls direct Indian involvement in terrorism within its borders.
