Pakistan Condemns Israel’s Move To Declare Parts of West Bank As State Property

Pakistan Condemns Israel’s Move To Declare Parts of West Bank As State Property

Pakistan on Monday strongly condemned Israel’s recent attempt to convert parts of the Occupied West Bank areas into so-called state property. The Foreign Office also criticized the expansion of illegal settlements in these regions.

According to an official statement, such actions clearly violate international law and United Nations resolutions. Pakistan urged the international community to reject these moves and take concrete measures to prevent further violations.

The statement emphasized that Israel’s continued disregard for international law and provocative actions undermine the prospects for lasting peace in the region. Pakistan called on global actors to hold Israel accountable for these violations in the West Bank areas.

Pakistan reaffirmed its full support for the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination. The country also reiterated backing for the establishment of an independent, viable, and contiguous State of Palestine based on pre-1967 borders, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.

Officials noted that the ongoing settlement expansion in West Bank areas not only threatens Palestinian lands but also diminishes hopes for a fair and comprehensive peace agreement. Pakistan highlighted that these actions further complicate the already fragile situation on the ground.

The Foreign Office urged all nations to strengthen international mechanisms and ensure respect for international law in occupied territories. Pakistan emphasized that support for justice and Palestinian rights remains a cornerstone of its foreign policy.

Pakistan’s condemnation comes amid global concern over escalating tensions in the region. Authorities stressed that preventing illegal settlement expansion is essential to safeguard peace prospects and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian population.

The statement concluded with a call for coordinated international action to end Israeli impunity and to uphold the principles of international law in all West Bank areas.
