Meanwhile, Karachi continues to experience intense heat, with the city recently recording its highest night temperature since 2021. Unfortunately, there is no rain forecasted for Karachi.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), “Vigorous monsoon activity is anticipated in the upper and central regions throughout the week. Torrential rainfall in these areas could lead to significant disruptions.”

The Met Office also alerted the public that robust monsoon currents originating from the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal are projected to affect the upper parts of the country starting from July 3.
