Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, on Saturday conveyed warm wishes to Oman on the occasion of the Sultanate’s National Day. He spoke with Oman’s Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Al Busaidi, emphasizing the longstanding fraternal ties between the two nations.
“The DPM/FM lauded the enduring Pakistan–Oman relationship and expressed heartfelt felicitations on the Sultanate’s National Day,” said a statement issued by the Foreign Office. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation in various sectors.
During the conversation, the two officials also agreed to reschedule the 8th Joint Ministerial Commission meeting at the earliest mutually convenient date. They discussed upcoming high-level engagements to enhance economic, trade, and cultural collaboration between Pakistan and Oman.
The gesture highlights Pakistan’s respect and goodwill towards Oman, reinforcing the strong diplomatic relations that have continued for decades.
