Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has claimed that four Indian Rafale fighter jets were jammed by Pakistan Armed Forces during an attempted border incursion, forcing the Indian aircraft to retreat without further action.
Speaking to the media, Asif revealed that the incident demonstrated Pakistan’s robust defence capabilities. “Four Rafale jets were coming from India and were successfully jammed by Pakistan’s forces,” he said, adding that India made no further move after the electronic warfare countermeasures.

Despite the success, the minister warned that tensions remain high. “We cannot say the threat from India has diminished,” Asif stated, calling for continued military vigilance along the border.
On other fronts, Asif mentioned Pakistan’s plan to engage the World Bank over water disputes under the Indus Waters Treaty. He also raised concerns about the recent Pahalgam attack, hinting at a possible false-flag operation by India. “One must consider whether Prime Minister Modi himself staged the Pahalgam incident,” he remarked.
