To improve travel convenience during summer holidays, Pakistan Railways has introduced the “Summer Vacation Special Train” from Karachi to Rawalpindi.
Sources reveal the train will depart Karachi at 8:45 PM, stop in Lahore at 3:40 PM the next day, and reach Rawalpindi at 10:00 PM. For the return trip, it will leave Rawalpindi at 12:30 PM, arrive in Lahore at 6:00 PM, and finish in Karachi the following day at 2:15 PM.

The special train includes 17 coaches with 2 AC Business Class, 2 AC Standard Class, 12 Economy Class coaches, and 1 Power Van.
The first run from Rawalpindi to Karachi is on July 5 at 12:30 PM, with departures every alternate day. The train will make 14 stops, accommodating up to 1,140 passengers.
This service aims to meet increased travel demand during summer, ensuring a comfortable and safe journey for passengers between Karachi and Rawalpindi.
