Pakistan Partially Resumes Gulf Flights Amid Middle East Tensions

ISLAMABAD โ€“ Pakistan has partially resumed flights to the Gulf after recent disruptions caused by rising security concerns in the region. Several airlines canceled services in the past days, affecting travelers to major Gulf destinations.

Flights to Saudi Arabia have now fully resumed. Passengers can travel to Riyadh and Jeddah with airlines like Fly Nas and Fly Jinnah, which are preparing scheduled departures. Check-in has started for Saudi Airlines flights to Riyadh and Jeddah, as well as for Air Sial flights to Jeddah.

Flights to Dubai are operating on a limited schedule. Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and Fly Dubai have begun check-in for their Dubai routes, including PIAโ€™s Sharjah service and Fly Dubaiโ€™s FZ 979 flight. However, some flights remain canceled. Air Blueโ€™s Dubai flights and Air Sial services to Abu Dhabi have been suspended. Etihad Airways to Abu Dhabi has also canceled flights.

Other Gulf destinations continue to face disruptions. Qatar Airwaysโ€™ flights to Doha and Salam Airโ€™s services to Muscat have been canceled. Gulf Airโ€™s flight to Dammam remains on schedule. Travelers are advised to check with their airlines for updates before traveling.

Officials in Pakistan emphasize that flight operations are being restored gradually, prioritizing passenger safety amid volatile conditions in the Middle East. Authorities are monitoring the situation closely and coordinating with airlines to resume full operations as soon as it is safe.

Passengers traveling from Pakistan are encouraged to confirm flight schedules and check-in times in advance. Airlines continue to adjust services based on security updates and airspace availability.
