Pakistan to Continue Anti-Terror Ops Despite Kabul’s False Claims: Khawaja

Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has said that the country will not halt its counter-terrorism drive, stressing that Pakistan to continue anti-terror Ops despite Kabul’s false claims.

Speaking to reporters on Friday, Khawaja rejected Afghanistan’s allegations that Pakistan was conducting operations beyond its borders. He said such claims were misleading and aimed at diverting attention from the real issue — the presence of banned groups inside Afghanistan.

According to the minister, Pakistan’s military actions are confined within its own territory and are focused on eliminating terrorist networks that threaten national security. He reaffirmed that Pakistan to continue anti-terror Ops despite Kabul’s false claims, as the fight against terrorism is essential for regional stability and peace.

Khawaja emphasized that Pakistan has suffered greatly from terrorism over the past two decades and will not allow militant groups to regroup. He said that every operation is conducted with precision and in accordance with international law.

The Defence Minister also urged Afghan authorities to take responsibility and prevent their soil from being used against Pakistan. He noted that cross-border militant activities have increased recently, leading to a series of attacks targeting Pakistani security forces.

Experts say Pakistan’s firm stance shows its commitment to maintaining peace and ensuring the safety of its citizens. They believe that cooperation between Islamabad and Kabul is necessary to address the shared threat of terrorism.

In conclusion, Khawaja reiterated that Pakistan to continue anti-terror Ops despite Kabul’s false claims, calling on Afghanistan to engage in dialogue instead of blame. He added that Pakistan remains committed to regional peace but will respond firmly to any security threat.
