Pakistan to Experience Severe Heat Wave, Warns Weather Department

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted a severe heat wave to impact the country in the coming days, with a high-pressure system set to influence most regions starting tomorrow.

From May 15 to 20, temperatures are expected to rise sharply in Sindh, Southern Punjab, and Balochistan, with the southern regions likely to experience temperatures 4 to 6 degrees higher than usual.

Central and Upper Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Islamabad will also witness above-normal temperatures, with a rise of 5 to 7 degrees expected, as per the forecast.

Authorities are urging the public to take necessary precautions to safeguard themselves during this period of intense heat.
