The Pakistan Meteorological Department has issued a forecast for widespread rainfall in various regions of the country, particularly in the northern areas in the coming days.
The forecast suggests that Islamabad and its neighboring areas will experience partly cloudy skies, with intermittent showers and potential hailstorms. The weather in the capital region will vary throughout the week.

Several districts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Chitral, Dir, Swat, Malakand, Shangla, Kohistan, Battagram, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Buner, and Bajaur, are expected to see rainfall. Precipitation is also forecasted for the Mohmand, Khyber, Kurram, and Kohat areas.
The weather department spokesperson indicated that multiple districts in central and northern Pakistan will experience rainfall systems moving through these regions. Cities like Haripur, Peshawar, Charsadda, Nowshera, and Swabi, as well as Kohat, Bannu, Waziristan, and Dera Ismail Khan, are predicted to receive varying amounts of rain.
Punjab will also be affected, with heavy rainfall anticipated in places like Murree, Galiyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, and Jhelum. Other areas like Talagang, Mianwali, Hafizabad, Gujranwala, and Mandi Bahauddin are also expected to experience rain, including agricultural zones like Sargodha, Gujarat, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, Sheikhupura, and Faisalabad.
While Sindh will remain mostly dry and hot, districts such as Sukkur, Larkana, Jacobabad, Dadu, and Kashmore are predicted to receive some rainfall. Balochistan will also stay generally dry, with possible rain in Lasbela, Washuk, and Khuzdar.
Residents in the affected areas, particularly those prone to flash floods or drainage issues, are advised to take necessary precautions.
