Passports

The passports of 23 overseas Pakistanis have been revoked following their involvement in an attack on former Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa’s vehicle in London. The individuals, now on the Passport Control List (PCL), reportedly attempted to block Isa’s car, damaged its windows, and shouted slogans against him.

Among those listed is PTI leader Malaika Bukhari, who was in London for her sister’s cancer treatment. Others named include Shayan Ali, Sadia Fahim, and Sidra Tariq, alleged participants in the October 31 protest against Isa’s convoy near the Pakistan High Commission.

Pakistani authorities have approached UK officials to facilitate the extradition of the suspects for questioning and possible arrest upon their return. Meanwhile, an additional 153 names have been added to the PCL, though the passport revocation only applies to these 23 key suspects.
