PIA Announces Major Decrease in Umrah Prices

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced a major reduction in Umrah Prices, making travel to Medina much more affordable for pilgrims.

A PIA spokesperson stated that this initiative aims to lower costs for Umrah travelers. The new discounted fares are effective immediately and available until July 15, 2024. Pilgrims from Karachi can now book a round-trip for PKR 76,000 plus tax, while those from Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar, Multan, and Sialkot can avail of a fare of PKR 86,000.

This reduction offers significant savings compared to the previous fare of PKR 120,000, lowering costs by PKR 34,000, and making the sacred journey more accessible to many.

The spokesperson highlighted that this discount reflects PIA’s commitment to supporting religious travel and community needs. By reducing travel costs, PIA aims to facilitate easier access for more pilgrims to perform Umrah.

Passengers are encouraged to book their tickets soon to benefit from these reduced fares, as the offer is valid only until mid-July. Early reservations are recommended due to expected high demand.
