PIA Begins Post-Hajj Flight Operations With Return of Pilgrims

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is set to kick off its post-Hajj flight operations Tuesday evening, starting with flight PK-732 departing from Jeddah. The flight will carry 307 pilgrims back to Pakistan, leaving King Abdulaziz International Airport at 8:50 PM local time and arriving at Islamabad International Airport early Wednesday morning at 3:50 AM.

Following this, the first return flight from Madinah, PK-7030, is scheduled for June 12. It will depart at 3:30 PM and land in Lahore by 10:30 PM, also carrying approximately 307 pilgrims. These flights are part of an extensive operation that will continue until July 10.

The post-Hajj operation will conclude with flight PK-7094, bringing around 437 pilgrims from Madinah to Islamabad. In total, more than 88,000 pilgrims who performed Hajj under the government scheme will return to Pakistan on 362 flights.

According to Dr. Syed Ata Ur Rehman, Secretary of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, over 115,000 Pakistanis completed Hajj this year under both government and private arrangements. The Pakistan Hajj Mission has ensured detailed logistical planning for the smooth and dignified return of all pilgrims.
