Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) announced on Friday that it will resume flights to Europe starting in January, with Paris as the first destination. PIA spokesperson Abdullah Hafeez Khan confirmed that the airline had received approval for its first scheduled flight and would begin accepting bookings for the January 10 flight to Paris starting December 9.
Additionally, Khan mentioned that PIA would soon approach the UK’s Department for Transport (DfT) to seek approval for resuming flights to the UK. Once granted, routes to London, Manchester, and Birmingham are expected to be highly popular.
